As of January 2020, the gift amount for the Friends of the Wortham Center Star level will be $125. This small increase (the first in many years) provides essential support for the Wortham Center and many benefits for you. Now with three venues, more world-class performances, new workshops and classes, and expanded opportunities for connections, there is so much more for you to enjoy.

About the Wortham Center for the Performing Arts
The nonprofit Wortham Center for the Performing Arts is one of Asheville’s most loved and respected arts organizations. The center - comprising Diana Wortham Theatre, Tina McGuire Theatre, and Henry LaBrun Studio - is funded by ticket sales, individual and corporate contributions, and grants.

Each year the Wortham Center is home to more than 200 arts and community events enjoyed by 55,000 patrons. The Wortham Center presents the Mainstage Series, a full season of top touring acts in music, theatre, and dance; serves more than 10,000 school children through the Matinee Series of educational performances and workshops; and serves as the home venue for numerous local arts and civic organizations.
