Diana Wortham Theatre is delighted to announce that Golden Globe Award winner Jill Eikenberry and multiple Emmy and Golden Globe nominated Michael Tucker will headline the program, "Selected Shorts: Lots of Laughs," with host Isaiah Sheffer, in Asheville. Eikenberry and Tucker are best known for their roles on NBC's hit legal drama, "L.A. Law," which earned Eikenberry a Golden Globe Award and garnered several Emmy and Golden Globe nominations for them both. Married for almost 40 years, Eikenberry and Tucker share a special rapport after working extensively together on stage and television.
The program "Selected Shorts: Lots of Laughs" includes readings of: "Jamaica" by David Schickler; "Adults Alone" by A.M. Homes; and "Fatso" by Etgar Keret. Eikenberry and Tucker perform this trio of hilarious and provocative tales about three modern couples in unexpected predicaments, behaving rather badly. Some stories contain adult themes and content.
