The Winter Solstice is a time for joyful and thoughtful seasonal reflection. Delight with family and friends at the 7th annual edition of this holiday concert that has become a warm winter tradition of tis own. With guitars, mandolins, fiddle, Appalachian dulcimer, piano, harp, bagpipes and world percussion, renowned recording artists Al Petteway, Amy White, and Robin Bullock share seasonal music from Celtic, American, and other world music origins with inspiring depth and creativity.

The evening features a number of special guest performers including:

• Doug Orr, president emeritus of Warren Wilson College and founder of The Swannanoa Gathering
• Shelia Kay Adams, renowned Appalachian storyteller, ballad singer, banjo player and author
• The Twisty Cuffs, local Cape Breton stepdancers
• E.J. Jones and Steve Agan, Highland bagpipers
• Alex Reidinger, fiddler and harpist
