December is a time for reflection, connection, and celebration — and for over a decade, the performers of A Swannanoa Solstice have been bringing warm merrymaking and quiet contemplation to Asheville audiences. Make your own holiday tradition with the seasonal music of award-winning recording artists Al Petteway, Amy White, and Robin Bullock performing Celtic, Appalachian, Scots-Irish, and world influenced holiday music on guitars, mandolins, Appalachian dulcimer, Celtic Harp, bouzouki, piano, and world percussion. Complementing the headliners are special guest musicians, dancers, storytellers, and host Doug Orr, president emeritus of Warren Wilson College and founder of The Swannanoa Gathering.
