About the Instructor/Artist: Yoko Morris
Starting as a volunteer at HandMade in America in 2011, Yoko was hired as the Program Coordinator in March of 2012 to manage the Appalachian Women Entrepreneurs program, Craft Labs, and Exhibitions. An entrepreneur herself, Yoko started working in a small business when she was 15 years old in her hometown of Hurricane, WV and has never looked back. She has since earned her BS degree in Small Business Management/ Entrepreneurship with a Minor in Art from Shepherd University, managed three small businesses, and owned her own for two years.
