Come enjoy a heartfelt and lively evening of Love Poetry from around the world with award-winning poet, gifted translator, and celebrated storyteller Robert Bly. During this special evening of both passionate and spiritual poetry, Bly—who is widely respected as one of America’s greatest living poets—will be accompanied by the lyrical music of Asheville’s own Free Planet Radio. This world-fusion group features Grammy award-winning bassist Eliot Wadopian, percussionist River Guerguerian, and multi-instrumentalist Chris Rosser. Expect an evening filled with spiritual insights, sharp wit, and graceful rhythms.
After the reading and concert, join Robert Bly for a book signing and an informal chat.
This event is being hosted by the Prama Institute, a retreat and seminar space designed to nurture people's spirit and creativity within the context of sustainable living and planetary change.
