• Alison Brown Quartet with Joe Craven Mar. 8
Wonderful venue and concert. Please do it again. My family traveled from southeast Georgia (Saint Simons Island) to hear Alison Brown play banjo. We were thoroughly pleased with the experience. - B. Friedman
• Irving Berlin's "I Love A Piano" Feb. 19-24
We attended this show on Saturday night and had a really good time. We thought it was fun, energetic and well done. - Di, Hendersonville NC
It was a wonderful show. This was the first play that my husband and I have been too and it was great. There was a lot of singing and comedy included, and that's what made it so good. - Tina Davis, Marshall, NC
I LOVED the production of "Irving Berlin's I Love A Piano." What a great production of incredible energy, talent and nostalgic music. Don't miss it this week. - Carol, Asheville
• Almost Heaven: Songs of John Denver, October 2-7
This is the best show we've seen in Asheville (after the Atlantic Ballet). It was fun, entertaining, enlightening, and extremely well structured and paced. Wish we knew the show's itinerary so we could tell friends to see it. Great cast.

My husband and I attended this show Sat Oct 6 and, honestly, we were not all that impressed by it. We are long time John Denver fans and it just didn't make the connection for us. As a tribute to his life, it was fine, but we didn't care for the changes in the music arrangements of old and familiar favorites. I guess we just expected something different . . . we did enjoy it . . . but not enough to rave about it. - Dianna Attaway, Hendersonville, NC
I’ve just returned from the premier of “Almost Heaven” and what an
incredible, full house opening night! The show’s score of John Denver’s
music & lyrics included all my nostalgic favorites. But the young
male and female voices & musicians brought new interpretations to
these well known songs. The stage was filled with projected images
that added historical context, but remarkably made the production
current and timely. I was relieved that they did not change Denver’s
familiar music, but rather, they gave it new life. How fortunate that
this production will be in Asheville all week. I know I will be back
in the DWT audience for an encore performance. Spread the word: don’t
miss this one. - Carol Deutsch, Asheville, NC
A must see! Thank goodness it's here all week.
