If you have an interest in hospitality, arts-in-education, special events, marketing, public relations, ushering, or arts administration, we have volunteer opportunities for you.

Volunteers are essential to the Diana Wortham Theatre. Not only do they bring their creative energy and support to the theatre, but they also provide an important link to communities and neighborhoods throughout Western North Carolina. 

The Diana Wortham Theatre has a strong Volunteer Usher Core of 80 dedicated individuals who provide service for shows in the Mainstage Series Season.

At this time, we are at capacity and are not able to accept new Ushers until the fall of 2011. If you would like to be a part of this dynamic group, please read the Usher Policy Manual, fill out the Usher Request Form and fax the form to 828-251-5652 or mail to: Rae Geoffrey, Diana Wortham Theatre, 2 S Pack Square, Asheville, NC 28801. Your name will be placed on a list for next season.
