Volunteer
If you have an interest in hospitality, arts-in-education, special events, marketing, public relations, ushering, or arts administration, we have volunteer opportunities for you.
Our volunteers are essential to the Diana Wortham Theatre. Not only do they bring their creative energy and support to the theatre, but they also provide an important link to communities and neighborhoods throughout the Western North Carolina region.
If you would like to be a part of this dynamic group, please read the Usher Policy Manual, fill out the Usher Request Form and fax the form to 828-251-5652 or mail to Rae Geoffrey, Diana Wortham Theatre, 2 S Pack Square, Asheville, NC 28801. Our pre-season mandatory gathering for new and returning ushers is on
Thursday, August 21, 2008 at 5:30 pm
in the Forum at Pack Place.
-Our annual usher training session
-A brief customer service presentation
-A sign up period for fall/winter shows
This event is mandatory for all DWT ushers. You must be present at this event to be eligible to usher for 08-09 Mainstage Series events!
