If you have an interest in hospitality, arts-in-education, special events, marketing, public relations, ushering, or arts administration, we have volunteer opportunities for you.

Volunteers are essential to the Diana Wortham Theatre. Not only do they bring their creative energy and support to the theatre, but they also provide an important link to communities and neighborhoods throughout Western North Carolina. 

The Diana Wortham Theatre has a strong Volunteer Usher Core of 80 dedicated individuals who provide service for shows in the Mainstage Series Season.

At this time, we are at capacity and are not able to accept new Ushers. If you would like to be included in future opportunities, fill out the Usher Request Form and mail to: Rae Geoffrey, Diana Wortham Theatre, 2 S. Pack Square, Asheville, NC 28801.
