Directions

Conveniently located in the heart of downtown Asheville, the Diana Wortham Theatre is within the Pack Place Education Arts and Science Center at 2 South Pack Square.  Easily identified by the electronic marquee at the front entrance, Pack Place/Diana Wortham Theatre is just three blocks from I-240, Exit 5-A Merrimon Avenue.

From the East
Take Exit 5-A, Merrimon Avenue from I-240 and follow signs to Pack Place. At the end of the exit ramp Turn Left back under the interstate. You are now on Broadway/Rt 25 South. Travel approximately 3 blocks to the crest of the hill. The BB&T building is on your right, Pack Square with the Vance Monument and Pack Place is to your left.

From the West
Take Exit 5-A, Merrimon Avenue from I-240 and follow signs to Pack Place. At the end of the ramp, Turn Left onto Broadway/Rt 25 South. Travel approximately 3 blocks to the crest of the hill. The BB&T building is on your right, Pack Square with the Vance Monument and Pack Place is to your left.

Parking

Parking is conveniently available in the privately-operated parking garage next to Pack Place, with access from Biltmore Avenue. To reach the deck from the above directions, continue over the crest of the hill. The entrance to the parking deck is on your left in the same block as Pack Place. When attending Diana Wortham Theatre events, we recommend parking on the first or third/top level for easiest access to Pack Place.  From the top/third level there is a door leading directly into Pack Place at the theatre's balcony level.

Parking is also available on the street at metered spots. Meters are not enforced after 6 pm Monday - Saturday or on Sunday.

If you're dining at a nearby restaurant prior to a performance, inquire about any special parking deals offered by the restaurant.

Box Office

The Pack Place Box Office - (828)257-4530 - is open from 10am to 5pm, Tuesday through Saturday, 1pm to 5pm on Sundays, and one hour prior to all evening performances.  We look forward to your visit or call, and to learn how we can better serve you. The box office accepts MasterCard, Visa and American Express. 

Accessibility

The Diana Wortham Theatre is accessible to the disabled. Infrared hearing devices are available through the Pack Place box office at no charge to the patrons.  Should you have special seating needs, please advise the box office staff when ordering or purchasing your tickets.

Theatre Policies

In consideration of other patrons - 

• Latecomers are seated at the discretion of management.
• Babes-in-arms are not permitted.
• Cameras and recording devices are not permitted inside the theatre.  Please check them with the house manager.
• Please turn off all electronic devices such as beepers, cell phones, and watches.
• No food or beverage should be brought into the theatre.
• Smoking is not permitted.

Group Discounts

Group discounts are available for your group of ten or more for most Mainstage productions and other performances at the Diana Wortham Theatre.  Call our Group Sales office at (828) 257-4544 ext. 307 and ask about discounts, full section sales, tours, dinners, and receptions for your group event.

Gift Certificates

Diana Wortham Theatre Gift Certificates are available in any denomination and can be exchanged for tickets to any Mainstage or other productions at the Diana Wortham Theatre.  To order a gift certificate, call the Pack Place box office at (828) 257-4530, or stop by the next time you attend a show.
